The respective legal bases are stated in the following sections.
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by the following provider:
IONOS SE
Elgendorfer Straße 57
56410 Montabaur
Germany
When the website is accessed, IONOS processes technically necessary access data. This may include in particular:
- the website visited previously (referrer),
- the page or file requested,
- browser type and browser version,
- operating system used,
- type of device used,
- time of access,
- IP address in anonymised form.
The processing serves to provide the website securely, reliably and without errors. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure and reliable operation of our website.
According to IONOS, the visitor data concerned is stored for eight weeks. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with IONOS.
Further information:
4. Encrypted connection
This website uses SSL/TLS encryption. This protects data transmitted between your browser and our website against unauthorised access by third parties.
5. Contact by email and contact form
If you contact us by email or through the contact form, we process the information you provide. This includes in particular:
- your name,
- your email address,

- where applicable, other information you provide voluntarily.
The processing serves to handle and answer your enquiry.
If your enquiry relates to the initiation or performance of a contract, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. For all other enquiries, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the proper handling of incoming enquiries.
We use the WordPress plugin Contact Form 7 for the contact form. In its current configuration, no services such as Google reCAPTCHA or external analytics tools are used. Contact Form 7 does not store the submitted messages permanently in the WordPress database. The information is sent as an email.
The data is deleted as soon as your enquiry has been fully handled and there are no statutory retention obligations or other legitimate grounds for further storage.
6. Email processing by IONOS and forwarding to Gmail

In the course of forwarding, Google processes in particular the content of the message, sender and recipient details, time stamps and other technical email metadata.
The processing serves to handle business communication. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where pre-contractual or contractual communication is concerned. For other communication, it is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the reliable handling of enquiries across devices.
Google operates servers in various countries. It therefore cannot be ruled out that personal data is also processed outside the European Union or the European Economic Area, in particular in the United States.
According to its own statements, Google LLC is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Where necessary, Google also uses standard contractual clauses as an additional basis for international data transfers.

We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). - the page accessed,
- date and time of access,
- information about your browser, operating system and device,

The processing and the access to your device take place solely on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by deleting the stored site data (Local Storage) of this website in your browser. If you have not ticked “Always allow YouTube”, your consent applies only to the current page view.
Processing in the United States or other third countries cannot be ruled out. Further information can be found in Google’s privacy policy:
